Andy Oliver
Andy was born in Hartlepool in the North East of England where his family still live. He has lived in a lot of places since leaving home cto pursue his career in acting and music, living in London, Lancashire, Normandy, Carcasonne and now resides in the beautiful seaside town of Ballycastle in Northern Ireland.

He started his career working in theatre in Newcastle for companies like The Live Theatre, Bruvvers and Monster productions, as well as appearing in the popular tv show Byker Grove, the police drama 55 Degrees North and Grubbs a one of show for ITV and the discovery Channel. Andy met his wife Janet Bamford in 2001 when working on a play by author David Almond which started in the Lyric Hammersmith and toured nationally, The show was called "Wild Girl Wild Boy," Janet was the wild girl, Andy the wild boy and the rest as they say is history.

In 2009 Andy stopped drinking as he was very much dependant on alcohol, "I came to a crossroads in my life, thanks to a friend, I saw that I couldn't continue the way I was, I could either stop drinking or lose everything I loved,"

It was a in the hard difficult days of sobriety that he found his love of music again, "I felt like I had so much I needed to say about how my life had changed, how I felt about losing that side of my life but more importantly the people who loved me and helped me see I had more to give."
Andy's debut single "Last Dance," saw him chart in the top 20 iTunes chart and gave him the confidence to write more music. Since then he has had many songs in the top 30 iTunes Charts in the UK, France and the US. He has won awards in America for his song, "Why God Why?" and has written the film score for three movies, award winning documentaries and continues to release music through his record label Speegra, who he signed with in 2012.

Andy also launched a new label I-AGO Records this year still working with the amazing Speegra Team who are guiding him through developing talent. His latest release "First They Silenced The Radio" hit the top spot on iTunes songwriter charts and got to number 6 in all genres on iTunes the same week. ​

Andy has been battling chronic pain for years and they have found they may need to intervene so while he is not playing live at present he is still working when he can on new material and with artists signed to his label
